The Greenlight

One real AI decision, run through the questions, every week.

Every issue is the same shape, on purpose: somebody’s actual situation — a build they’re weighing, a tool they’re paying for, a pitch on their desk — run through the six questions. The situation. The cut. The verdict. What happened. Plus one thing from the week worth knowing. Three minutes, no filler.

One thing makes this newsletter structurally different from every other AI letter you could subscribe to: nothing here is for sale except the decision. Vendors are paid to say build. Consultants are paid to say build. The Greenlight is free to say build this one — and free to say not that one, which is the more common answer, and exactly what makes the green light mean something when it comes.

What you get when you sign up: the six questions themselves, as a six-day course — one question a day, run on a real decision of yours, ten to twenty minutes each. On day six you get the Decision Kit: the one-page decision document, the vendor pitch checklist, and the tool/toy/trash triage, as printable paper. Then the weekly rhythm starts.

Past issues

An archive of past issues will appear here once the newsletter has a back catalogue. For now, the essays are the archive.
